The running project
The running project involves both physiotherapists and personal trainers, with the goal of providing comprehensive care for everyone who approaches the world of running, whether at an amateur or competitive level.
The functional diagnosis is the first step in identifying musculoskeletal issues related to running, such as tendinitis, strains, and osteoarthritis. It is possible to access the facility directly in a short time for a functional assessment conducted by our specialized physiotherapists. The physiotherapists are able to recommend any necessary specialist visits and establish a treatment plan that allows the issue to be managed without interrupting the running activity.
Treatment
The treatment aims to address injuries and overload conditions related to running. We use manual therapy techniques, targeted therapeutic exercises, and, when necessary, supportive physical therapy treatments. The goal is to ensure that each runner can continue running safely and with less pain.
Running Biomechanical Analysis
A key element of our approach is the biomechanical analysis of running. We use video recordings to analyze the quality of the athletic movement, foot placement, and load asymmetries. This analysis allows us to identify any issues that may cause pain during running and provide advice on the most suitable type of footwear to improve the situation.
Strength Assessment
To ensure comprehensive preparation, we also conduct a strength assessment through jump tests, isometric strength tests and endurance tests for the various muscle groups involved in running. This allows us to highlight any muscular deficiencies and establish a targeted strengthening program, thereby improving the runner’s performance.
