Parkinson's Disease Treatment

Parkinson’s disease is a condition that affects the central nervous system, causing motor impairments such as balance disorders, rigidity, and tremors. However, through early and consistent rehabilitation, it is possible to limit the degenerative effects of this disease.

It is scientifically proven that regular physical exercise can be extremely helpful in maintaining and improving mobility, strength, coordination, and consequently, the quality of life of patients. Our rehabilitative approach, through the combined use of water and land exercises, aims to provide comprehensive and personalized support to improve the quality of life of patients with Parkinson’s disease.

Our rehabilitation project

For years, we have been successfully dealing with Parkinson’s disease rehabilitation through a structured rehabilitation project that includes two weekly sessions:

  • A session in the thermal pool
  • A session in the gym

The rehabilitation sessions include:

  • Joint Mobilizations
    To maintain and improve flexibility.
  • Breathing Exercises
To improve lung function and reduce stiffness.
  • Balance Exercises
To prevent falls and improve stability.
  • Patient Education
Advice and clarifications provided by always up-to-date physiotherapists, for optimal management of the condition.
