Our commitment to a greener future
At Terme della Salvarola, environmental sustainability is a core value that guides our choices and daily actions. Every day, we work to improve and implement new solutions that allow us to offer you a wellness experience in harmony with the environment. It is with this philosophy that every intervention has always been carried out with respect for nature.
We are proud to have optimized all systems, both in the hotel and at the Balnea Wellness Center, to maximize energy savings. The installation of photovoltaic panels allows us to harness solar energy, significantly reducing our carbon footprint and promoting the use of renewable energy, while the installation of an electric vehicle charging station is a step towards the use of greener energy sources.
We have implemented a series of technical measures that contribute to significant energy savings, such as LED lighting and improvements in the efficiency of certain systems. We have also adopted systems that allow remote control and the use of devices for waste separation in the hotel rooms. Finally, we chose to reuse some furniture pieces, giving them new life through the skilled hands of a local Modena artist: handles from 1968 were reassembled and transformed into key elements of small paintings on the internal doors of many hotel rooms, depicting a steering wheel, a door handle from a vintage car, a cherry branch, or the cork of a balsamic vinegar cask. This highlights the importance of our local products and the motorsport heritage, celebrated at Salvarola Terme with the Concours de Elegance Trofeo Salvarola Terme.
