An event for high-end vintage cars, held since 2000.
The Concours d’Elégance Trofeo Salvarola Terme was founded in 2000, in collaboration with the Ferrari Museum in Maranello and later with the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena. From its very first edition, the event was conceived with the aim of showcasing the treasures of the Modena region: the architectural, natural, and artistic beauties of a land that was once the cradle of a great Renaissance lordship, alongside its exceptional local products, spanning from food and wine to ceramics, from the automotive industry to opera.
Every year, this event celebrates the “Land of the Reds,” the heart of the Motor Valley, through a fascinating journey through time among the great brands of automotive design, where the roar of vintage engines becomes the perfect guide.
The Concours d’Elégance is now recognized as one of the most important events in the world of high-end vintage cars. Two days of pure automotive passion, enriched by the discovery of Modenese excellence and moments of relaxation in the evocative setting of the ancient Terme della Salvarola.
We look forward to welcoming you to parade through hills and plains, admire our museums, taste our traditional cuisine, and embrace the warmth that characterizes this land. And we hope that, when it’s time to leave, you’ll do so reluctantly, with a desire to return soon to the Land of the Reds, where the flavors, Emilian traditions, and Terme della Salvarola will always be waiting for you with open arms.

The Trofeo Salvarola Terme
Handcrafted in a single copy for each edition by Master Ceramicists from Modena, the Trofeo represents the Terme della Salvarola, featuring its evocative Liberty façade and the symbolism of the therapeutic healing waters, paired with a racing car.
The Trofeo embodies much of our beloved land: the earth, first and foremost. Hard under the hoe when dry, treacherous underfoot when wet, versatile, artistic, famous, and eternal once kissed by the fire of ceramic kilns. Sassuolo has tiled half the world, from cathedrals to the Space Shuttle, doing so with ingenuity, art, and a daring spirit of adventure.
And it has done so with fire, which here burns hot and untamed. The fire of passion and combustion engines, that burned in the veins of Enzo Ferrari and his drivers, the fire that ignites everything in Red. The fire that set hearts ablaze when Luciano Pavarotti sang “Nessun Dorma” around the world.
Water is everywhere in Modena. It flows through the ancient canals now paved beneath the feet of the Modenese. In the Salse di Nirano, water embraces the earth, bubbling up to create mud volcanoes. At Salvarola Terme, the water has flowed and healed since the times of the Romans and Matilda of Canossa.
