Thermal Water Rehabilitation

Hydrokinesis at 35°C

Our thermal rehabilitation pool is the only one in the area that combines the therapeutic properties of water with the benefits of thermal treatments. Hydrokinetic therapy originated in the 1970s, primarily in the sports field and today it represents an important support for rehabilitative therapies for all types of patients. Functional rehabilitation in the pool is highly recommended in rehabilitation programs, as water promotes motor recovery and provides significant psychological benefits.

This therapy is indicated both as pre-surgical preparation, as it prevents joint stiffness and muscle weakness, and as postoperative recovery. It is particularly effective in maintaining normal joint mobility and treating both chronic and acute low back pain and sciatica.

Benefits of Hydrokinetic Therapy

The water temperature at 35°C allows for muscle and nerve relaxation, providing significant psychophysical benefits. The partial absence of gravity enables movements that would not be possible on land and allows for physical activity even immediately after an injury or trauma, promoting a reduction in healing time for orthopedic, neurological, and neurosurgical outcomes. This helps avoid the consequences of prolonged inactivity.

Treatment session

Each session, lasting 30 minutes, takes place in a thermal pool at approximately 35°C. Swimming skills are not required to follow the rehabilitation program. Each rehabilitation path is fully personalized and conducted by qualified physiotherapists, ensuring a targeted approach for each patient and condition. Our pools, immersed in nature, provide a serene environment that contributes to both physical and psychological well-being.
